The flexible sleeping arrangements make Hyttekos Trysil particularly suitable for families, two families travelling together, or groups of friends.

With three separate bedrooms, guests can enjoy both time together and their own private space.


Maximum occupancy: 10 guests.


Hyttekos Trysil offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 10 guests, with 3 separate bedrooms and additional sleeping space.



Bedroom 1 – Double Bedroom


A comfortable bedroom with:

1 × double bed – 160 × 200 cm

Suitable for 2 guests.


Bedroom 2 – Bunk Bedroom


Ideal for children, teenagers or groups:

2 × bunk beds – 75 × 200 cm

Each bunk bed has an upper and lower sleeping place, providing a total of 4 single beds.

Suitable for up to 4 guests.


Bedroom 3 – Family Bedroom


A flexible family sleeping arrangement with:

1 × lower double bed – 150 × 200 cm
1 × upper single bed – 90 × 200 cm
1 × pull-out bed – 75 × 190 cm

    Welcome to Hyttekos Trysil!


    We want you to feel at home and enjoy a relaxing stay. At the same time, we kindly ask you to treat the cabin, its facilities, our neighbours and the surrounding nature with care and respect.


    These House Rules are designed to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone. Please read them carefully and follow them throughout your stay.


    By booking and staying at the property, 

    guests agree to follow these House Rules.



    1. Check-in & Check-out


    Check-in: from 4:00 PM

    Check-out: by 11:00 AM


    Early check-in or late check-out is only possible with prior approval.

    Please respect the agreed times so that we have enough time to clean and prepare the cabin for the next guests.



    2. Maximum Occupancy


    The maximum occupancy of the cabin is 

    10 guest


    The number of guests stated in the reservation must not be exceeded without prior approval from the host.


    Unregistered overnight gue

    sts are not permitted.



    3. Access to the Cabin


    The cabin is equipped with an electronic door lock. Your personal access code will be provided before arrival.


    Please do not share your access code with anyone outside your registered group.


    Whenever you leave the cabin, please make sure that all windows and external doors are properly closed and that the entrance door is locked.



    4. No Smoking


    Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire cabin.


    This also applies to e-cigarettes and similar products.


    When smoking outside, please extinguish cigarettes completely and dispose of them properly. Cigarette ends must never be left on the property or in the surrounding nature.



    5. Pets


    Pets are only permitted with prior approval.


    Please do not allow pets on beds, sofas or other upholstered furniture.


    Any pet waste or other mess must be cleaned up both inside and outside the property.


    Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.



    6. Quiet Hours & Neighbours


    Please respect our neighbours and the peaceful surroundings.


    Parties, events and excessive noise are not permitted. In particular, please keep noise outside to a minimum during the evening and at night.


    The property may not be used as a party or event venue.


    After 10:00 PM, please keep noise to a minimum and be considerate of our neighbours.




    7. Jacuzzi


    The jacuzzi is prepared, filled and preheated for your stay when included in your booking.


    Please shower before entering the jacuzzi to help maintain good water quality.


    Do not add soap, oils, bath products, chemicals or other substances to the water. Glassware and glass bottles must not be used in or immediately around the jacuzzi.


    After each use, please replace the cover completely and check the water level.


    A low water level can damage the pump and other components. If you notice unusual water loss or any technical problem, please contact us immediately.


    Children may only use the jacuzzi under the supervision of a responsible adult.


    Damage resulting from improper use or negligence may be charged to the guest.

    8. Sauna


    Our outdoor sauna is wood-fired.

    Depending on the outdoor temperature, allow approximately 45–60 minutes for the sauna to reach the desired temperature.


    Never leave the fire unattended.


    Please do not pour oils, fragrances or other additives onto the sauna heater or stones unless specifically approved.


    Children may only use the sauna under adult supervision.


    Firewood is not automatically included and can be purchased separately if required.


    After use, please leave the sauna clean and tidy.


    Use at your own risk


    Only burn dry firewood. Once completely cold, ashes must be disposed of in the designated metal container.




    9. Fireplace & Fire Safety


    The fireplace may only be used for its intended purpose.


    Never leave a burning fire unattended.


    Do not burn rubbish, plastics, packaging or other unsuitable materials.


    Before going to bed or leaving the cabin, make sure that the fireplace does not present a fire hazard.


    Please leave the fireplace clean and tidy after use.


    Only burn dry firewood. Once completely cold, ashes must be disposed of in the designated metal container.



    10. Heating & Energy


    Please use heating and electricity responsibly.


    Do not leave windows or external doors open for extended periods while the heating is running.


    Please do not change settings on technical installations, electrical systems, circuit breakers or smart-home equipment unless the controls are specifically intended for guest use.


    If something does not work as expected, please contact us rather than attempting technical repairs or modifications yourself.



    11. EV Charging


    A smart EV charger with a maximum charging capacity of 7.2 kW is available at the property.



    EV charging is available at NOK 7 per kWh and must be arranged in advance. A NOK 1,000 charging deposit may apply. Charging an electric vehicle from standard household outlets is strictly prohibited. A fee of NOK 2,000 applies in case of violation.



    Charging an electric vehicle from standard household electrical outlets is strictly prohibited.


    The actual charging speed may vary because the cabin uses intelligent energy and load management.


    Please contact us if you experience any problems with the charger.



    12. Kitchen & Appliances


    Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and its appliances.


    Please clean dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment after use and return them to their proper places.


    The oven and microwave must be left reasonably clean.


    Never leave the hob, oven or other heat-producing appliances unattended while in use.


    Please report any malfunction or damage rather than attempting repairs yourself.



    13. Gas BBQ


    A gas BBQ is available for guests on the terrace.


    The BBQ must only be used outdoors and in its designated location. Never use it inside the cabin, sauna, outbuildings or other enclosed or partially enclosed spaces.


    Before lighting the BBQ, please make sure that the grill and gas connection appear to be properly connected.


    Never leave the BBQ unattended while it is operating.


    Keep children, pets and flammable materials at a safe distance.


    After use:


    • Switch off all burners.


    • Close the gas supply at the gas bottle completely.


    • Clean the grill grate and remove excessive food and grease residue.


    • Allow the BBQ to cool completely before replacing the cover.


    Do not dispose of grease or food waste on the terrace or in the surrounding nature.


    If you smell gas or suspect a fault, do not use the BBQ. Close the gas supply if it is safe to do so and contact us immediately.


    Guests may be charged for damage resulting from improper or negligent use.



    Please notify us if the gas bottle is empty – we will arrange a replacement. Do not leave the BBQ exposed to rain. After it has cooled completely, cover it and return it to its designated place.



    14. Waste & Food


    Please dispose of rubbish in the designated waste containers and follow the local waste-sorting instructions.


    Before check-out, please remove your own food from the refrigerator and kitchen unless otherwise agreed.


    Never leave rubbish on the property or in the surrounding forest and nature.



    15. Furniture & Equipment


    Please treat all furniture, equipment and other items in the cabin with care.


    Indoor furniture must not be taken outside.


    Please do not move large pieces of furniture or equipment without prior approval.


    If something is damaged or stops working, please let us know as soon as possible. Early notification can often prevent a small problem from becoming a larger one.



    16. Bed Linen & Towels


    Please only use the bed linen and towels provided or agreed for your reservation.


    Additional towels, bed linen or other stored textiles must not be used without prior approval.


    If you need additional linen or towels during your stay, please contact us.



    17. Safety & Emergencies


    Please familiarise yourself with the cabin and its main safety equipment after arrival.


    Emergency exits, doors and access routes must always remain clear.


    In the event of a fire or immediate danger, leave the property first and contact the appropriate emergency service.

    For property-related problems that are not emergencies, please contact us directly.



    18. Damage & Technical Problems



    We understand that accidents can happen.


    Please contact us as soon as possible if something is damaged, broken or not working correctly.


    Do not attempt to repair electrical, plumbing, heating or other technical installations yourself.


    Guests may be held responsible for damage caused by negligence, improper use or failure to follow these House Rules.


    Immediate notification is especially important in the event of a water leak, electrical problem or anything else that could cause further damage.



    19. Additional Cleaning & Charges


    Normal final cleaning does not mean that the property may be left excessively dirty or in an unreasonable condition.


    Additional charges may apply if special cleaning or additional work is required due to improper use.

    Charges may be cumulative if several issues occur during the same stay.


    Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged separately.




    20. Before Check-out


    Before leaving Hyttekos Trysil, please:


    • Dispose of rubbish in the designated containers.


    • Remove your own food from the refrigerator and kitchen.


    • Wash used dishes and leave the kitchen tidy.


    • Leave the oven and microwave reasonably clean.


    • Leave the fireplace clean and safe.


    • Leave the sauna clean and tidy.


    • Replace the jacuzzi cover securely and check the water level.


    • Switch off the gas BBQ, close the gas bottle and leave the BBQ clean.


    • Close all windows and external doors.


    • Switch off unnecessary lights.


    • Take all personal belongings with you.


    • Report any damage or technical problems.


    • Make sure the entrance door is 


    properly locked when you leave.

    21. Respect for Nature


    Hyttekos Trysil is surrounded by beautiful Norwegian nature, and we would like to keep it that way.


    Please do not leave rubbish outdoors or damage trees, plants or the surrounding landscape.


    Outdoor fires are only permitted where and when they are safe and legally allowed.


    Please respect wildlife and the natural environment around the property.
